What Eurovision did to Belgrade?I was listening some Belgrade radio station yesterday, and they talking about Eurovision and numbers of performances and events on Belgrade streets, high level of order and beauty?! So, I decided to go out for a daily walk and watching what Eurosong contest did to us, did to Belgrade? This is photo story. We could talk about logo design for Eurovision 2008, but prefer not. We could talk about order, beauty and cleaning Belgrade, but I prefer not. Not today. But, we could talk about inspirations, spirits, lifestyle, habits of people in Belgrade and how they find a chance to sell themselves. While you trying to find ticket extra or accomodation extra or beer extra or amusement extra in Belgrade, take a look and be inspired.

In "Bezistan" passage near Terazije square you could find very beautiful crafted handmade products with charming design, adorable and colorful. Like spring in Belgrade!!!
One more open street shop in Belgrade. Here you can buy some CDs and DVDs. Illegal of course. First it's forbidden to sell it, but second people try to avoid taxes. Go the hell with taxes. :)
Someone parked his / her transportation vehicle near main Republic square and probably take a little rest after hard day. Take a rest and make new friendships.
Again, the best honey made in Homolje in Serbia. Here this man develop complete brand story and history on which business is based. Bravo! Honesty rules!

Sometimes am tired of all that mythology of Belgrade as provincially city and ethno shit. But, we should recognize good things and original ideas. That's how identity is making from roots, memory and (n)ever changing street life.
